BUILDING CHARACTER IN YOUTH THROUGH ATHLETICS

NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN'S SPORTS LEAGUE

BACKGROUND CHECK

BACKGROUND CHECKS

NCSL is required to conduct a background check of all staff which includes: Board of Directors, Coaches, Coordinators, and any other volunteers who service the league and have access to all youth participants. We believe in the safety of our youth and our first priority is the safety and protection of the participants.

Peopletrail

NCSL has partnered with peopletrail in creating a safe environment that will help to safeguard our youth and people associated with the league. Peopletrail is tailored to provide background check and screening services since 1994. This invested understanding not only brings expertise to our organization but also translates into quick, accurate, and compliant-driven reporting and support for your individual needs.

USA FOOTBALL

HEADS UP FOOTBALL TRAINING

The Neighborhood Children's Sports League is excited to be working with USA Football for the 2018 season.  We have enrolled the league in the Heads Up Football membership, which will help us provide a better, safer game by focusing on coaching education, as well as, player health and safety.

The commitment of enrolling in Heads Up Football is that all our coaches become USA Football Certified in 2018. Coaches will be able to get certified in one of two ways.

  • Complete the Youth Tackle Certification on USAFootball.com
  • Attend a USA Football Coaches Clinic and then complete a quick quiz on USAFootball.com

In April 2018, we launched Heads Up Football Training to either take the Youth Tackle Certification online or to attend an
on-site Coaches Clinic. The three closet Coaches Clinics will be Green Bay, WI (June 23rd), Lake Forest, IL (July 14th) and Lodi, WI (July 21st).
